POS Manager onboarding steps
Your Proof Manager account is created for you. After your login details arrive by email, use the portal to set up your stores, users, menus, tables and QR codes before installing POS Manager on your devices.
Before you begin
There is no public self-sign-up. Proof Manager creates the business account and sends the first administrator’s login details by email. Keep that email available before you begin setup.
Open the account and review the business details
Sign in with the credentials sent by email, then open Main › Admin. Review the business name, contact details, country, accepted payment methods and store allowance. Correct the details you are permitted to edit, or ask the Proof Manager team to correct account-level information before you continue.

Create your stores
Open Main › Branches Management and select Add Branch. Enter the store name and the required tax, service-charge and store-code settings. Repeat this for every store that will use POS Manager.

Add users and assign roles
Open Users › Users Management and select Add User. Add each person who needs access, enter their email address and assign the appropriate role, such as Owner, Admin or Cashier. Give each user only the access needed for their work.

Create menus and categories
Open Menus Management › Menus & Categories. Create the menu first, then add its categories. Set each category’s ordering hours and status, and publish the category changes when they are ready.

Add menu items and publish the menu
Open Menu Items and choose the menu you created. Add items individually or import them, then complete the name, category, code, cost, price, ordering hours and status. Publish the menu only after you have checked the item details and prices.

Configure tables and order types
Open Main › Tables Management and select the store. Add the table groups and tables needed for dine-in service, then assign the published menus used for pickup, dine-in and delivery orders.

Generate and print the QR codes
Open Main › QR Codes and select the store. Download and print the code created for each table. Separate codes can also be used for pickup orders, delivery and reservations where those services are enabled.

Install POS Manager on the devices
Download POS Manager on each approved iOS or Android ordering device and kitchen screen, then sign in and select the correct store or station. For kitchen screens, choose the categories that screen should receive. For ESC/POS printers, enter the printer IP address, type and name, assign categories to the printing profile, and keep the printing device powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Finish with an end-to-end test
Place test dine-in, takeaway and pickup orders before opening the store for service. Confirm the menu, prices and tax, kitchen routing, printer output and QR destination. Correct any mismatch before staff begin taking live orders.
